Lindy in the Park

What fun this is!

Every Sunday, every week of the year, a group gathers in Golden Gate Park for swing dancing! Each week there is a new theme and each week there are the regulars, who are dedicated dancers, and new faces, ready to hone their skills, or learn for the first time.

They have a beginner lesson part way through, a well known dance that the well practiced dancers participate in, and a “jam” for birthdays and out-of-towners (I never let them know :p ). It’s a wonderful event and community to be a part of. 

I wish there was a “Lindy in the Park” everywhere I went!
